This adorable little guy is the ultimate social butterfly – he adores humans, gets along famously with cats, and loves nothing more than romping with other dogs (he’s wonderfully submissive, so he fits right in with any pack). Whether it’s a buddy at home or a new pal at the dog park, Rivet is happiest when he’s with his crew.
Kids? Rivet is gentle, patient, and will charm them with endless cuddles – he’s a professional pat-stealer who thinks attention should be an all-you-can-eat buffet!
Active families, listen up! Rivet is your perfect walk-and-play partner. He loves the dog park, splashing through water (watch for those happy splashes!), and his legendary zoomies will have you in stitches. Just a heads-up: he’s a bird-chaser at heart, so hold that lead tight during walks – but his recall is improving every single day, and he’s already quite good on a lead.
Still in his teething phase, Rivet keeps things entertaining – hand him a stick, and he’ll have you “barking” with laughter. He’s timid but never shy, with a heart so big it melts everyone who meets him. He even sits politely for dinner (though that excited jump when you say “okay” is pure puppy joy!). He is house trained as well.

Adoption details
All dogs are vet checked, desexed, microchipped, C3 vaccinated, wormed, heartworm and flea/tick treated.
ADFC house our dogs with volunteer foster carers in private homes.
They are given basic training and experience life in family situations with dogs, cats, children and various other domestic animals.
We then have an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dog may suit your family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial - $50 deposit. If the dog doesn't fit with your family, they are returned to us and deposit refunded.
