About Remmi
🌸 Meet Remi – The Sweet Little Soul Just Waiting to Blossom 🌸
Some dogs race straight into your heart… and others, like Remi, quietly tiptoe their way in before leaving paw prints that last forever.
Beautiful Remi is a 2½-year-old Cocker Spaniel weighing approximately 10kg. She came into our care following a relationship breakdown through no fault of her own and is now searching for a patient, understanding family who will give her the time she needs to truly shine.
Remi is a gentle, affectionate little girl who can be timid and unsure when meeting new people. New environments and unfamiliar faces can be overwhelming for her, so she may initially keep her distance while she works out if she's safe. But for someone willing to let her settle at her own pace, watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. There is nothing quite like the moment Remi decides you're her person—it's a bond that's earned and one you'll treasure forever.
Once she feels comfortable, Remi is an absolute cuddle bug. She adores curling up beside her humans on the lounge or sneaking into any available bed for a cosy night's sleep. She's a quiet, low-energy girl who is happiest simply being close to the people she loves.
Remi is toilet trained, can use a doggy door, and has lovely manners around the home. She has a sweet little howl to greet you when you arrive home but is otherwise a very quiet companion.
She gets along well with children of all ages and has lived happily around cats and even chickens, showing very little interest in either. She also enjoys the company of other small to medium-sized dogs, although, like with people, she appreciates having time to get to know them. She may give a little growl to let another dog know she'd like some space while she builds confidence, but she has never shown any aggression—it's simply her way of asking for patience.
Walks are still very much a work in progress. At the moment, Remi isn't quite sure what to make of being on a lead and would much rather sit and watch the world than go for a stroll. With gentle encouragement, positive experiences and time, we're confident she'll continue to grow in confidence.
As a Cocker Spaniel, Remi's gorgeous coat will require regular grooming to keep it healthy, comfortable and free from mats.
Remi would thrive in a calm, loving home where life isn't too hectic. Someone who understands that trust can't be rushed will be rewarded with the most loyal, gentle and loving companion. She doesn't need someone to change who she is—she simply needs someone who will believe in her while she discovers her confidence.
If you're looking for a sweet little girl who will quietly blossom into your very best friend, Remi may just be the one you've been waiting for. ❤️

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
