Dobby is a young, energetic dog with a big personality and an even bigger love for people. He thrives on companionship and will happily be by your side, whether youāre relaxing at home or heading out for an adventure. āØ Personality & Training
Dobby is a smart boy who already knows how to sit on command and is continuing to improve his stay. Heās eager to learn and will benefit from ongoing training and positive reinforcement. š¶ Exercise & Lifestyle
Dobby loves his walks and has plenty of energy to burn. He can be a little excitable and strong on lead at the start, so heāll do best walking with a harness to help manage his enthusiasm. An active home that can keep him stimulated and engaged would suit him perfectly. š¶ Compatibility
While Dobby enjoys human company, he can be selective with other dogs. Because of this, a meet-and-greet is essential if there is already a dog in the home to ensure a good match.
Best with Children Aged: 12 years +
Compatibility with Other Dogs: Can be selective (e.g. no off leash dogs parks)
Training and Behaviour Needs: Needs daily opportunities to learn about life (e.g. puppies, most dogs)

Adoption details
When you find an animal that you think you may want to meet, please send us an email through pet rescue and one of our staff will get back to you as soon as we can.
If you live in the Rockhampton area, we encourage you to meet with any animal that captures your heart.
However, if you live too far away we can arrange a phone call from one of our foster carers, who can provide you with the best information on our animals.
Once you have chosen to adopt (or the animal has chosen you) one of our adoption counselors will process the adoption and your new family member will be ready to take home.
