Morton

Morton is an absolute sweetheart. When he was rescued from the pound he was very matted and a little malnourished. He has since been cleaned up and fed well and is looking absolutely beautiful. Although it appears that he has been neglected, he shows no signs of ill treatment and seems a happy and well adjusted pup. He is very affectionate and loves to sit on your lap and be picked up and cuddled. He sits on command and learns fast. Morton appears to have been around people more than other dogs as he seems to prefer to be in a one dog situation – this could change however as he spends time with his foster family. He is quite gentle and would be fine around children over eight or so. He is quiet and doesn’t bark much. Being a poodle he loves company and wouldn’t like being left for long periods of time, so he would best suit a retired person or couple who are still quite active because he loves his walks; or a person who works from home, or family with a stay-at-home mum or dad.
