Meet Nutmeg!

Nutmeg is a sweet girl with a heart of gold, looking for her forever family to give the best life she can possibly imagine!

This little lady has had a rough time in the shelter and has been working with our behaviour team to help her work on some anxious feelings, especially when left alone.

She is looking for a home with adults only, who can encourage calm, respectful interactions, and offer her some space when things get a little intense. She would also prefer to have someone at home with her more often than not while she's learning that being alone isn't as scary as it may seem, and that her humans are always going to come back to her.

Nutmeg may be suitable to live with another friendly doggo, provided a successful meet-and-greet at the shelter, so if you already have a dog who doesn't mind a rough playstyle, bring them down to the shelter to meet this sweet girl!

Nutmeg has had a bit of basic training; she can sit and is in the midst of learning to walk on a loose leash. But she would really benefit from some continued force-free training to learn some new tricks, manners, and to give her big brain something to work on.
