About Lyria
Meet Lyria! Lyria is a lovely senior lady with a gentle soul who thrives in a calm, predictable home where she can settle in at her own pace. She enjoys having choice and control, so she'll appreciate patient adopters who understand feline body language and let her initiate affection. Despite her age, Lyria is surprisingly playful and loves interactive games, especially when followed by a tasty treat. She'll flourish with cosy hiding spots, soft bedding, climbing opportunities, scratching posts, and a quiet routine. As a senior cat, she'll also benefit from thoughtful touches like pet steps and easy-to-access litter trays. Lyria is looking for an adult-only or cat-savvy teenage home where she can feel safe, respected, and cherished for the wonderful companion she is. Come meet this pretty lady, Lyria!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
