About Opie
Meet Opie!
Opie is a gentle, sweet boy who is searching for a calm and loving forever home. He can be quite shy at first, so he'll need a patient adopter who is happy to give him the time and space he needs to settle in and build his confidence.
With kindness, understanding, and a quiet environment, Opie is sure to blossom into a loving and devoted companion. Seeing him come out of his shell and grow more confident will be a truly rewarding experience.
Opie is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which means he can go home with you today! He will need to return to the shelter on 20/08 for his dental procedure, and once he's recovered, he can head back home with you forever on 21/08.

Adoption details
Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal’s profile.
Animal Welfare League Gold Coast's opening hours are:
Tuesday to Friday – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday to Sunday – 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Monday – Closed
