Meet Luka!

Luka is a sweet, gentle boy looking for a calm and understanding family to help him continue building his confidence. He's happiest when he's included in the day's activities, happily following you around and being part of the action, but he's just as content curling up on his comfy bed when things are quiet.

Luka enjoys the simple things in life-tasty treats, relaxing car rides, and greeting his favourite people with a wagging tail when they arrive home. He's also crate trained and happily slept in his crate overnight in his foster home, making the transition into his new family that little bit easier.

As Luka is still working on his confidence, he can be a little unsure when meeting new people and thrives in a calm, predictable environment where he can take things at his own pace. He prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and is uncomfortable being picked up, so his future family will need to respect his boundaries and let him build trust naturally.

Luka will need regular access to a secure outdoor area or frequent toilet breaks throughout the day. Due to his sensitive nature, he is best suited to an adult-only home where everyone can provide the patience, consistency, and reassurance he needs to flourish. He would also prefer to be the only dog in the home, allowing him to continue growing in confidence without the added pressure of sharing his space.
