About Koda
Meet Koda! Koda is a beautiful young girl with an independent spirit and a playful side. She's a smart girl who already knows some basic cues, loves a tasty treat, and can't resist a game of tug with her favourite toys.
Like many young Malamutes, Koda is energetic, strong, and eager to learn. She'll thrive with an active family who can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and ongoing positive training. Koda may be able to live with another calm, confident, playful canine, pending a slow introduction. She may also be able to live with a friendly cat, pending a slow and careful introduction.
She would also thrive in a adult or teenager home who can manage her strength, understand canine body language, and respect her boundaries. She would love a secure yard to play in! In return, you'll gain a loyal companion with endless potential and a whole lot of personality!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
