Cheeseburger

Cheeseburger is a friendly 5 month old, neutered male looking for a foster family to keep him company as he transitions from a gastrointestinal diet to Hills kitten dry food.
Cheeseburger is desperate to find a nice, large space to run around in and turn into his own personal race track - perhaps the family lounge room or your bed at 3am might work?
Cheeseburger came to the shelter with his three siblings and is happy to share a house with other feline friends (preferably with enough energy to keep up with him!), though he has not been tested with dogs. As he is a kitten still learning to be a house cat, he may play a little rough, so very small fingers and toes are best kept out of reach! Children 5+ years old who understand the risks of tiny kitten claws and teeth would be great companions for him though - he'll need a lot of attention and playtime throughout the day.

Reason for foster: diet transition
Medications: FortiFlora (powder added to food) and Cobalazorb (capsule, can be split open and added to food, given directly to mouth, or mixed with warm water and syringe fed), finishing on 5/09
Observations: may have bouts of diarrhoea, important to monitor this throughout his time in foster care
Current diet: Hills kitten i/d dry and Royal Canin Gastrointestinal kitten mousse
Time needed: 2-4 weeks
Vet check: 6/09 (post-medication checkup)

As a gentle soul who likes to take things at my own pace, I feel the most at ease in a calm, quiet space when it's time to make a new friend. Once I know I'm with a kind, patient person, I'll happily settle in, lean into gentle pats, and show you the sweet kitten I've been hiding all along.

Looking for someone who understands that trust is built one small moment at a time. If you're willing to let me take the lead and celebrate the little milestones with me, you'll get to watch my confidence grow into something really special.

A calm, friendly feline companion in the home would help show me the ropes in my new home. I'd also do best in a peaceful home without very young kids.

Staying indoors is the best, where life is safe, predictable, and full of cozy places to relax while I settle into my forever family.
