At around 6 months old, Dax's story began a little differently. He was trapped as a stray at Kurri Kurri TAFE, where life had taught him to be cautious of people. Since coming into care, this handsome black boy has been making wonderful progress.

Every day, Dax is learning that humans can be kind. While he's still a little shy, he's slowly showing us affection, enjoying gentle pats, and beginning to trust the people caring for him. Watching his confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding.

Dax is looking for a calm, patient home that will give him the time and understanding he needs to continue building his confidence. He doesn't expect much—just a safe place, a gentle hand and someone willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace. With love and patience, Dax is sure to become a loyal and affectionate companion.
