Gabby is a beautiful 4-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel 🐶 looking for a patient, loving family ❤️ to help her continue her journey of learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. 🌈

After a difficult start to life 💔, Gabby is naturally shy and timid around new people and experiences. 🥹 While she can be cautious at first, every day she grows a little more confident, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch her personality blossom. 🌸

🛋️ Gabby is the sweetest little companion. She absolutely loves snuggling up on the lounge for cuddles 🥰 and enjoys being close to her people. ❤️ She’s a gentle, affectionate girl who thrives on kindness and reassurance. 💕 She would love a home where she’s included as part of the family and can spend her days safely inside with her humans. 🏡

🐾 Gabby must be adopted into a home with another friendly, confident dog 🐕, as she relies on canine companionship for comfort and confidence. She isn’t phased by the cat living with her 🐱 and would happily fit into a home with feline friends too.

🚽 Like many dogs who haven’t had the best start, Gabby is still learning some of life’s basics. She will need ongoing toilet training and continued positive reinforcement 🌟 to build her confidence when walking in new areas. 🦮 With patience, consistency and encouragement, she’s already making wonderful progress.

👧👦 Gabby is fantastic with children. She currently has three small human foster siblings who absolutely adore her, and she loves all the positive attention they give her. 💖 Her ideal family will understand that confidence can’t be rushed and will celebrate every little milestone along the way. 🎉

🩺 Gabby has a Grade 3 heart murmur ❤️, which doesn’t stop her from enjoying life, but it will require routine veterinary monitoring throughout her life. She has also had extensive dental treatment 🦷, including the removal of many teeth, so her future family will need to continue providing appropriate dental care and regular veterinary check-ups.
