We'll have so many fantastic felines looking for their forever homes. Whether you're searching for an energetic playmate or a more laid-back companion, there's a good chance you'll meet "the one" at this event! Our team will be on hand to help match you with a cat or kitten that suits your lifestyle and to answer any questions you may have. Come along for a meet-and-greet and maybe leave with a new family member!

Life with Gunther is never going to be quiet, and that's part of his charm.

Gunther is a friendly, affectionate boy who has plenty to say. If he's hungry, you'll definitely know about it! He's not shy about leading you to his food bowl or having a little chat to remind you it's mealtime. During foster care he settled in straight away, loved being around people, and quickly showed that he enjoys cuddles, cheek scratches, and being treated like the baby of the family.

He has a fun, playful personality and loves interacting with his people. Like many young cats, Gunther can get a little carried away when he's excited. After a few pats he sometimes decides it's time to turn your hand into his next toy, so he'll do best with a family who understands cat body language and knows when to swap pats for a toy. He's also full of energy, food motivated, and always ready to join in whatever you're doing.

If you're looking for a cat with a big personality, plenty of affection, and a little bit of cheeky humour, Gunther could be the perfect companion. We encourage you to come and meet Gunther at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold. We have a feeling this chatty boy will keep his new family smiling every single day.
