At 6 years old, Duke is an absolute treasure. This handsome German Shepherd has a calm, gentle nature and a heart as big as he is. With his beautiful fluffy coat and relaxed personality, he's the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal best friend.

Duke walks beautifully on the lead and loves spending time exploring our yards during his daily playtime. He takes everything in at his own pace, enjoying the simple pleasures of sniffing around and soaking up the world.

Duke is searching for a calm, relaxed home where he can truly settle in. He could happily live with a family with older children and may even enjoy sharing his home with another friendly dog, pending a successful meet and greet.

We haven't tested Duke with cats, so any introductions should be done carefully. However, he hasn't shown much interest in chasing ducks or other birds here at the shelter, which suggests he may not have a strong prey drive.
