About Bandit
Meet Bandit!
This sweet boy is looking for a second chance at love. He arrived at LDH after his owner's circumstances changed and they could no longer keep him. But delightful Bandit is now ready to wiggle his way into your home and your heart.
Bandit is a lovely young man, who's still just figuring the world out at only 1.5 years old. He enjoys hanging with humans, and is a total sweetheart who already knows how to sit and shake on cue. He's looking for a home where his family have plenty of time to spend with him, gradually building his confidence and using force-free training to build on his skills and manners. Being a working breed, he has lots of energy to spend, and would benefit from enrichment activities and plenty of walks.
Bandit would like to go to a home with secondary-school aged children or older, as he can be a bit cautious with new people and handling, and needs a family who can respect his boundaries and give him space to settle in.
Bandit may be suitable to live with another dog, providing they have a successful meet and greet at the shelter. If you have a dog at home, please bring them in so that we can see how they interact with Bandit, and from there we can decide if they'd be a good fit.
If Bandit sounds like the right guy for you, come and meet him at our North Melbourne shelter, no appointment needed!
