Ellio

Ellio is the kind of cat who doesn't need to be the centre of attention to steal your heart.

He can be a little shy when meeting new people and sometimes shows it with a few nervous nose licks, but underneath that cautious start is a very gentle boy who enjoys affection. Give him a little time, and he'll come over for a sniff, lean into your hand, and reward your patience with sweet little head butts. He's the sort of cat who likes to build trust first, and once he does, it's easy to see what a lovely companion he is.

During his time in foster care, Ellio settled in within a couple of days and quickly found his favourite quiet spots around the house. He's not the type to race around looking for adventure or demand constant entertainment. Instead, he enjoys a peaceful routine, friendly company, and a calm home where he can relax and simply be himself. We think he'll be happiest with someone who appreciates his gentle nature and lets him settle in at his own pace.

"Ellio is the friendliest, cuddliest cat I have ever met! He has started to warm up and want to play but he mainly wants your undivided attention full of pats, strokes and cuddles. He loves a good lap to curl up in and a person to cuddle in bed! We noticed he seems familiar with a cat flap. Whilst he wanted to adventure onto the balcony I was very trusting of him and he very much wanted to be where the humans were. Which was sandwiched between them on the sofa. Ellio can be very food orientated and responds well to wet and dry food. We have been giving him his dry food in the morning and the wet food at night as a little treat. He would thrive with a cat tree or scratching post, anything he can get his claws in for a good scratch. He is very gentle and trusting with humans and would be a VERY good family pet for children." Ellio also has a Grade 2 dental condition that does not currently require surgery. Our veterinary team will chat with his new family about the best way to care for his teeth and help keep his mouth healthy.
