About Loretta Longlegs
Meet Miss Loretta Longlegs!
As her name suggests, Loretta is quite the long dog! This sweet one-year-old girl is friendly with every single person she meets, quite the social butterfly 🦋, loves playing with dogs of all sizes, and even lives with two cats although is learning some boundaries as she is a little too playful at times!
She has not been tested with pocket pets, but with appropriate introductions, we don't anticipate any issues.
Loretta was sadly left behind when her previous owners moved house. Thankfully, a kind elderly neighbour took her in and cared for her until reaching out for help through their local vet.
While little is known about her past, Loretta's love of life shines through. She's playful, affectionate, and always ready for her next adventure.
Loretta was born with one eye that never developed. She is deaf with limited vision in her remaining eye, which is healthy and currently requires no medication—just routine monitoring. As you see in the photos she lives with a much smaller dog and has previously lived with a larger dog so very dog friendly of all shapes and sizes.
Loretta is ready to bring love, laughter, and adventure into a lucky forever home.
Oh and don't let her signature head tilt fool you, she may seem like she is "listening" however she really cannot hear a thing you are saying!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions. Deaf and limited vision.
Adoption details
Hear No Evil's Adoption process:
1st Step * You contact us to obtain an adoption application, and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability.
2nd Step * A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and and current dogs is arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
3rd Step *Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records.
Transport arrangements are the financial responsibility of the Adopting party. Hear No Evil are happy to assist with departure preparations and ensuring the dog makes its transport connection.
Final step * Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
