Hugo

Meet Hugo, a sweet soul looking for love! Hugo came to us when circumstances changed and his previous owners could unfortunately no longer look after him. Now he is ready for a fresh start, and can't wait to meet his forever family.

This social little guy enjoys human interaction, and will follow you around like a little shadow. He's also a big fan of treats, and can sit when prompted.

Hugo would like to go to an adults-only home where his family can give him the space he needs to settle in. While he is a very friendly boy, he can be cautious around new people and handling, and may find children a bit overwhelming. Given his large build, he will require humans who can safely handle his sometimes very excitable greetings.

He would benefit from slow, positive introductions to new places and people, and force-free training so that he can continue to build his confidence. He's just a little (35kg) Hugo in a big world, and will need a little time and space to settle in.

Hugo may be suitable to go home with another well-matched dog if they have a successful meet and greet. Make sure to bring your resident dog along if you're interested in meeting Hugo.
