BRONTE — a quiet achiever looking for a patient heart
Bronte doesn't hand out her trust cheaply — and that's exactly what makes her worth waiting for.
At 15 months she has already been a mum, and now that all her babies have found homes, it's finally Bronte's turn to just be a cat.
She's a striking girl - a silver-brown tabby with fine mackerel striping, a softly spotted tummy, a neat white chin, a sleek short coat and sweet little tufts on her ears. Long-legged and leggy, she has a coltish, baby-giraffe look when she runs.
Bronte is calm, self-contained and beautifully behaved. She isn't a cat who greets you at the door or climbs into your lap on day one — she likes her own space, and it took over a week before she was comfortable being approached at all. But once she decided her foster carer was safe, she began coming over of her own accord, headbutting a hand for pats and purring away. Everything is on her terms, so when Bronte chooses you, you'll know you've truly earned it.
The playful girl is still in there. Once the house is quiet she has brief zoomies and a play with her toys, and she's now enjoying short feather wand sessions and staying in the room longer each time.
She's an exceptionally easy cat to live with: flawless litter tray manners, a fantastic appetite and not a fussy bone in her body. She's never cross or grumpy, and has lived peacefully with other cats, foster kittens and an XXL cat-loving Mastiff.
Bronte's ideal home: a calm, quiet, unhurried household with someone who understands that a shy cat isn't a broken cat — just one who needs time. Progress with her is measured in weeks and months, not days. A gentle resident cat could help her blossom, but a peaceful home on her own would suit her just as well.
She won't run into your arms. She'll take her time, then quietly decide you're hers — and being chosen by Bronte is very special.

Adoption details
Below is our adoption process. Please note that when adopting from Tiny Toe Beans Rescue Qld Inc, you agree to keep your cat inside or enclosed at all time as per the signed adoption application.
FIRST - Attend a Meet & Greet at the foster carer’s home so you can spend time interacting with the cat or kitten. This also gives the foster carer an opportunity to observe interactions and answer any questions you may have.
SECOND - If you would like to proceed with the adoption, an [Adoption Application](https://tinytoebeansrescueqld.org.au/AdoptionApplicationForm/) must be completed and submitted. Applications are reviewed by the Management Committee, and you will be advised of the outcome as soon as possible.
THIRD - If your Adoption Application is approved, the next step is payment of the Adoption Fee. You will receive an email from Tiny Toe Beans Rescue Qld Inc with the relevant bank details and payment instructions.
FOURTH - Once payment has been received, a mutually suitable pick-up time will be arranged with the foster carer so your new fur baby can begin their happily ever after in their furever home.
