About Bronte
BRONTE — a very special girl who has blossomed
Bronte came into care from a cat hoarding situation, frightened and heavily pregnant. When she arrived in her current foster home, it took around 12 days before she felt safe enough to come out for anything other than meals. The transformation since then has been wonderful. She no longer hides and now happily spends her days around her foster carer.
Bronte isn't a fan of strangers or loud noises, and visitors will usually find her tucked under the doona. But as soon as they leave, she's back out again. With someone she trusts, she's a completely different girl — happy, affectionate and wonderfully content.
She's not a lap cat, but loves being close by and looks forward to her morning pats. Once she trusts you, she absolutely LOVES belly rubs! Start patting her and she'll often roll straight onto her back, offering her tummy for more. She sleeps on or in her foster carer's bed and is just as happy snoozing on the couch.
Bronte is a quiet girl who doesn't meow much, although she certainly knows how to let you know when dinner is taking too long! She has impeccable litter tray manners, a fantastic appetite and is wonderfully easy to live with.
She's also quite playful and enjoys her toys and feather wand sessions, with plenty of little zoomies when the mood takes her.
Bronte should be fine with another cat following a slow introduction. She's previously lived happily with cats, kittens and an XXL cat-loving Mastiff.
Bronte may take a little time to settle into a new home, but once she feels safe, her beautiful personality shines through. She's gone from a frightened young mum who hid from people to a happy girl who seeks out pats, sleeps beside her human and rolls over for belly rubs.
Fully vetted and ready for someone very special to discover just how special she is.
Adoption details
Below is our adoption process. Please note that when adopting from Tiny Toe Beans Rescue Qld Inc, you agree to keep your cat inside or enclosed at all time as per the signed adoption application.
FIRST - Attend a Meet & Greet at the foster carer’s home so you can spend time interacting with the cat or kitten. This also gives the foster carer an opportunity to observe interactions and answer any questions you may have.
SECOND - If you would like to proceed with the adoption, an [Adoption Application](https://tinytoebeansrescueqld.org.au/AdoptionApplicationForm/) must be completed and submitted. Applications are reviewed by the Management Committee, and you will be advised of the outcome as soon as possible.
THIRD - If your Adoption Application is approved, the next step is payment of the Adoption Fee. You will receive an email from Tiny Toe Beans Rescue Qld Inc with the relevant bank details and payment instructions.
FOURTH - Once payment has been received, a mutually suitable pick-up time will be arranged with the foster carer so your new fur baby can begin their happily ever after in their furever home.
