About Georgia
Hi, I’m Georgia. I’ve got a gentle heart and lots of love to give to my future family. I’m looking for a patient owner because I’m still finding my way in the world and could use some positive guidance. With kindness and support, I know I’ll gain confidence and become the dog I’m meant to be. All I need is a bit of time, patience, and plenty of love.
I’m super cute and pretty photogenic, if I do say so myself. I love kids and adore my humans; I just need a family willing to help me and give me the time I need to truly shine. At first, I can be a bit shy, but with a little encouragement, my confidence starts to shine, and you can see my spirit light up as I realise my potential. I know I’m smart; I just need to trust myself more and embrace that confidence fully. I have a sweet nature and often look to my humans for guidance, my soft, questioning eyes asking, “Did I get it right?”
I love being around children and spending time with my favourite people. I’m gentle and calm with kids, and I love spending time playing with them. They’re so much fun, and the unconditional love and cuddles they give are just amazing. It’s truly what I enjoy most.
I haven’t been around cats, so I’m not sure how I’d do. I think I’d be okay with other dogs, though I’ve never had a doggy sibling before. I can get a little nervous around dogs I don’t know at first, but with slow introductions, I think having a doggy brother or sister could be great for me.
I love the simple pleasures in life, like watching birds outside, exploring the backyard or garden to find something new and exciting, wrestling food out of my Kong, and soaking up the sun. I also enjoy doing zoomies and playtime. I do have a little quirk, while I’m working on toning it down and learning to play more appropriately, sometimes I give playful nips at your toes if you’re wearing socks.
Okay, I have to admit one of my secret passions, and you’ll never guess what it is, socks. Yep, socks. I’m not sure why, maybe it’s the familiar scent from my family, but I love collecting them. I’ll even take a nap on a little pile of socks whenever I get the chance.
I love my food, and my foster family says I’m food-motivated, which makes me quick to pick up new commands and tricks. With just a few treats, I’m more than happy to show off my “sit” and “down.” Let’s be honest, who wouldn’t learn something for some yummy treats?
I’m an excellent car passenger, quietly enjoying the ride while gazing out the window, but I do have another quirky habit of being a bit of a seatbelt enthusiast. I tend to chew on them! I know, I know, why? No idea, but I’m learning to stop.
I’ll need a spacious, high-fenced backyard because I love doing zoomies, though I’ve been known to clear a fence or two. My foster family jokes that I could win Olympic gold for the high jump—yep, I’m that talented.
I can get a little anxious when I’m home alone. Loud noises and unfamiliar surroundings make me uneasy, so I prefer to stick close to my owner, who I trust and feel safe with. I’d be happiest with a family where someone is around most of the time or where I can join in on outings. Being alone just isn’t my thing, I feel most at ease and happy when I’m with you, enjoying lots of cuddles.
I always try to do the right thing, even if I’m not always sure what that is. My foster family says that when I’m given guidance, I glance up with soft eyes and my head slightly lowered, as if to ask, “Was that it? Did I get it right? I can totally do it again!”
I just enjoy learning what to do and feel so proud when I get it right. I think I’m the kind of dog who would love a gold star—maybe even a few!
I’m both house-trained and toilet-trained, and if there’s no doggy door, I’ll let you know when it’s time to go out. I’ve got this quirky talking habit, but it gets the job done. At night, I sleep soundly in my bed, and I’m not a barker, which the neighbours will appreciate.
Message from my foster family: If you’re ready to help Georgia build her confidence, she’ll reward you with endless love and affection. With the perfect balance of support and clear boundaries, she’ll continue to thrive, becoming a loyal and cherished companion. Welcome Georgia into your home and you’ll gain more than a pet—you’ll meet a delightful personality always eager for her next adventure, collecting gold stars along the way!
