About Ninotchka
Some cats wait for you to come to them. Ninotchka has other ideas.
The moment she sees you, she's already on her way over to say hello. This lovely young girl is full of confidence and affection, happily rubbing against you, asking for pats, and making it very clear that she'd much rather be spending time with people than sitting on the sidelines. Don't be surprised if she tries to get a little closer too. She seems to think climbing onto you is a perfectly reasonable way to make new friends!
Ninotchka is a real smooch who loves being part of the action. She enjoys attention and has a playful, outgoing personality that's hard not to smile at. Like many social cats, she can become a little overstimulated if the excitement goes on for too long, so she'll appreciate a family who can read her cues and give her little breaks when she needs them. A gentle approach is all it takes to keep this sweet girl happy.
Ninotchka also has a minor Grade 1 dental condition that does not require surgery. This is a common finding in young adult cats and is generally reversible with good dental care at home, including regular tooth brushing and a dental friendly diet.
If you're looking for a friendly cat who'll brighten your day with her affectionate nature and funny little antics, Ninotchka could be the one you've been waiting for. We encourage you to come and meet Ninotchka at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold. We have a feeling she'll be making herself at home in someone's heart before long.
