Chip

Chip is the sort of cat who just needs a few minutes before his sweet personality begins to shine.

This handsome grey tabby boy came into our care through no fault of his own after his previous owner experienced financial hardship. Although he can be a little nervous when meeting someone new, it doesn't take long before he starts to relax. Give him a few minutes, let him come to you, and you'll be rewarded with a very smoochy boy who happily enjoys pats and gentle company.

Chip has a lovely, gentle nature and we think he'll settle beautifully into a caring home where he can leave shelter life behind. Watching him go from quietly taking everything in to seeking out affection is a lovely reminder that some cats simply need a little patience before they show you their true selves.

Chip also has a minor Grade 1 dental condition that does not require surgery and is generally reversible with good dental care at home, including regular tooth brushing and a dental friendly diet.

We encourage you to meet Chip at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold. We'd love to see this sweet boy find a family who will give him the fresh start he deserves.
