Dixie

Dixie is a sweet little girl who loves being close to her people. Once she's settled, she'll happily curl up on your lap, enjoy a walk, or relax in the sunshine. She's very well house trained, loves treats, and is a clever dog who's quickly learning to use a doggy door.

Dixie can be protective of her home and will bark when visitors arrive, but she settles with reassurance. She can also be a little anxious when left alone, though she's improving every day and responds well to patience and routine.

As an adventurous little dog, Dixie will need a secure yard, as she's quick to dash through an open door or gate if given the chance.

Dixie would thrive in a patient, loving single female home with no other pets that will give her time to settle. In return, you'll have a loyal, affectionate companion who will reward you with endless love and devotion.
