Beautiful Nala is looking for a fresh start and a forever home where she can thrive.

Nala is a loyal girl who forms strong bonds with her people. Once she gets to know you, she has a lovely, affectionate nature and enjoys spending time with those she trusts. She loves riding in the car, enjoys playing with her tennis ball, and is happiest having space to run around the backyard. She knows her basic obedience and understands commands such as sit and wait.

Nala has lived with young children; however, due to her size and her owner’s uncertainty around leaving her unsupervised with children, we are seeking a home with older children or an adult-only household.

With other dogs, Nala can be selective. She has successfully shared a backyard with familiar dogs but can be bossy and isn’t suited to every canine companion. She would do best as an only dog or with a calm, compatible dog following careful introductions. She has not been tested with cats, so a cat-free home is preferred unless an experienced owner is willing to undertake safe introductions.

Nala is house-trained, enjoys being brushed, travels well in the car, and has been living with secure 6-foot fencing. Like many Rottweilers, she can be protective of her home and family and will bark at unfamiliar people, so she is looking for a confident owner who understands the breed and can continue building her confidence.
