About Spice
Spice is an Underdog in every sense of the word.
Returned twice before her first birthday for being "too much," Spice deserves a family who sees her enthusiasm as the gift it truly is. She turns one in September and is more than ready to find the home she should have had all along.
Spice has an enormous heart, an adventurous spirit, and a zest for life that's impossible not to love. She's definitely not a couch potato and would thrive with an active family who wants a fun-loving companion by their side.
Since coming into foster care, Spice has been settling in beautifully. She's recently discovered the comfort of an open crate and has chosen it as her safe space, showing just how much she's blossoming in a calm, supportive environment.
Like many dogs who have experienced multiple homes, Spice needs a patient adopter who will give her the time and space to adjust at her own pace. She's also working through some mild separation anxiety, which is completely understandable after being returned to the shelter twice before her first birthday.
Spice isn't "too happy. or too much" She's simply waiting for the right people to appreciate her joyful spirit, embrace her for who she is, and give her the forever home she truly deserves.

Adoption details
Hear No Evil's Adoption process:
1st Step * You contact us to obtain an adoption application, and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability.
2nd Step * A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and and current dogs is arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
3rd Step *Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records.
Transport arrangements are the financial responsibility of the Adopting party. Hear No Evil are happy to assist with departure preparations and ensuring the dog makes its transport connection.
Final step * Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
