Bargov - A cuddle buddy, playmate, and little shadow!

True to his Jack Russell mix nature, Bargov is intelligent, curious, and loves keeping an eye on the world around him. One of his favourite pastimes is sitting by the window, happily watching people, cars, and dogs go by. He also loves long walks, interactive games, and exploring new places. He has this wonderful balance between being playful and also relaxing when you ask him to calm down or when you need to work.

He takes a little time to settle in, but once he does, he loves attention, cuddles, and belly rubs. One of the sweetest parts of his day is greeting you with his favourite toy, inviting you to play tug-of-war or chase before happily settling down for some quality time together. Bargov can sleep in his crate overnight or in a bed beside you, and he'd never say no to snuggling up on the bed if invited! He is toilet trained, confidently uses a pet door, and travels well in the car, making him an easy companion to take on outings.

He knows some basic commands such as sit and stay and is not highly food-motivated, so an owner who can provide a consistent routine around meals and patience will help him continue building confidence around food. But that being said, Bargov is always happy to accept treats.

Bargov enjoys meeting other dogs and gets excited to say hello. He has shown positive interactions with compatible dogs. He would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention. Bargov absolutely adores playing with our 7-year-old daughter and has been lovely around younger children.

Bargov's ideal home is with someone who is home for much of the day, as he truly loves companionship and being included in everyday family life. A secure, well-fenced yard will always be important for an active and curious young lad. Previous breed experience would be a bonus, but it isn't essential. What matters most is a family who understands the needs of an intelligent, active dog and is ready to provide him with the love, enrichment, and companionship he deserves in his forever home.
