About Frank
🐾💙 Meet Frank 💙🐾
AKA: Frank the Tank • Frankie Doodle • Frankenstein... and quite possibly the biggest lovebug you'll ever meet! ❤️
If you've ever met a Bulldog, you'll know they have a very special way of making themselves the centre of your world.
They don't just become your dog...
They become your shadow.
Your couch buddy.
Your walking companion.
Your snoring soundtrack.
And Frank is absolutely everything people adore about Bulldogs.
At 3 years and 2 months old, this handsome chunk of love has come into care through absolutely no fault of his own. Frank was a much-loved family member, however his owners' work commitments meant they were required to move overseas, and the long-distance travel simply wasn't in Frank's best interests.
So now this gorgeous boy is searching for a family to love for the rest of his life.
And trust us...
Whoever adopts Frank is going to be incredibly lucky.
❤️ Built Like a Tank... Soft as Marshmallow
Bulldogs often have a reputation for looking tough...
Frank clearly missed that memo.
Underneath those chunky wrinkles and solid build is one of the sweetest, most affectionate boys you'll ever meet.
He's the perfect combination of adventure buddy and professional couch potato.
Want to head out for a walk?
Frank is already waiting at the door.
Ready for a lazy afternoon on the lounge?
Perfect... Frank had exactly the same idea.
He happily adjusts to whatever his family is doing, making him an incredibly easy dog to live with.
🚶 Adventure Time!
Frank loves getting out and about.
A stroll around the neighbourhood, a trip to the local park or simply exploring new smells are all high on his list of favourite activities.
Like many Bulldogs, he's enthusiastic on lead and can sometimes forget he's attached to a human! He'll occasionally pull when something exciting catches his attention, but he's a smart boy who listens well and is eager to please. With a little continued training, he'll be an absolute superstar.
Because he's a Bulldog, his walks are best enjoyed during the cooler parts of the day, and like all brachycephalic breeds, he'll need a family who understands the importance of keeping him cool during Queensland's warmer weather.
🐶 Bulldogs Have Their Own Language...
And Frank is fluent.
Snorts...
Grumbles...
Little conversations...
Random bulldog noises...
Frank has plenty to say, and his foster family often find themselves chatting back as though they understand every word.
It's impossible not to laugh.
❤️ People Are Frank's Favourite Thing
Frank absolutely adores his humans.
He's lived with children and has been wonderful with kids aged 11, 13 and 16 years, happily soaking up pats, cuddles and attention.
When meeting new people, he can get a little excited and may forget his manners with an enthusiastic hello, so ongoing reinforcement of keeping four paws on the floor will help him continue becoming the gentleman we know he can be.
He's also been very relaxed around other dogs while out walking and previously shared his home with a Poodle. That said, Frank is equally happy soaking up all the attention as an only dog, and we think he'd absolutely thrive being the centre of his family's universe.
☀️ The Sun Worshipper
Every Bulldog seems to have a favourite place in the house...
Frank's?
The sunny patch by the front door.
If there's sunshine...
You'll probably find Frank lying right in the middle of it, happily watching the world go by.
🎾 Tug of War Champion
Frank loves spending time with his people, especially if it involves a game of tug-of-war.
He's motivated by treats, praise, affection... basically anything that means spending time with his family.
He enjoys learning and genuinely wants to make his people happy.
🏡 Around the Home
Frank is fully toilet trained and has lovely house manners.
He sleeps inside where he belongs and happily settles while his family is out, having been comfortably left alone for around four hours.
He enjoys travelling in the car, making him an excellent companion for weekend adventures.
Bath time?
No problem.
Brushing?
Happy days.
He's an easy-going boy who simply enjoys being included in family life.
Like many Bulldogs, Frank can be a little unsure of loud or sudden noises. A patient family who'll continue building his confidence with reassurance and positive experiences will help him continue to blossom.
💙 Frank's Perfect Home
Frank would suit so many different families.
Whether you're an active household looking for a loyal walking companion...
Or a quieter home searching for a devoted couch buddy...
Frank is happy to match your lifestyle.
All he asks is that he's included as part of the family, given plenty of love, and has someone willing to appreciate all the wonderfully quirky things that make Bulldogs so special.
Because that's exactly who Frank is.
A big-hearted, snorting, wrinkly, lovable goofball who'll make you laugh every single day and love you with every ounce of his enormous Bulldog heart.
💙 If you're looking for a loyal best friend who'll happily join you on adventures, snore beside you during movie nights, and remind you every day why Bulldogs are one of the world's most lovable breeds... Frank is waiting to meet you.
🐾 Professional sunbaker.
💪 Tug-of-war champion.
🗣️ Full-time Bulldog conversationalist.
🛋️ Expert couch companion.
❤️ Built like a tank... powered entirely by love.

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
