About Opal
If you are looking for an energetic bundle of shiny black fur with a light smattering of golden brindle then look no further.
Opal is your girl.
If you're looking for a snuggle buddy day and night then look no further. Opal is your girl.
If you want to lose a little weight or just keep fit. Opal is your girl. Not only will she walk for kilometres with you, she will happily share your treats. She loves her food.
She is intelligent with a little amount of stubbornness just to keep you on your toes. I think she would be wonderful at agility and she did jump over the concrete bollards at the park yesterday perfectly although she did stop on every third bollard and wait for a treat 🥰 Opal walks beautifully on her lead and mixes with all dogs, big or small, who want to engage with her. Opal, however because of her previous unknown upbringing, is reluctant to engage with strangers.
She will happily walk past any number of strangers on her walks but becomes very reserved if they stop. She has definitely improved over the past week and I feel it is just a matter of patience and time before she treats everyone as lovingly as she treats her family.
Opal has learnt basic commands ...sit...down...rolly polly...ahah(as in don't touch) . She is in no way aggressive when eating and her recall is good.
She would enjoy having another pup at home with her and a mum/dad who can continue her training .
You will not regret bringing Opal into your family.
