Meet Trixie, a fluffy grey beauty with striking yellow-green eyes that seem to take in everything around her. She's a timid girl by nature, the sort of cat who needs a little extra understanding and patience while she finds her feet. With the right home behind her, though, Trixie has every chance of settling in beautifully and coming into her own.

Trixie would do best with a calm, experienced person who gets that not every cat struts in full of confidence on day one, and who's happy to let her set the pace. She could potentially live alongside other cats, provided introductions are slow and considered, but a home with dogs probably isn't the right fit for her given her more nervous nature. Older, pet savvy kids who understand cat behaviour and know that Trixie may take some time to settle would suit her well. Give her the space and patience she needs, and Trixie will reward you with the trust of a cat who's found her safe place at last.
