About Peppa
Meet Peppa - one of the sweetest, most adorable, and most endearing cats you’ll ever have the pleasure of knowing.
This beautiful little tuxedo girl has a personality that wins hearts within minutes.
Anyone who meets her falls almost instantly in love with her gentle charms and affectionate nature.
Peppa was previously adopted through our rescue and rehoming service a couple of years ago. Sadly her family’s rental was sold unexpectedly and they made the difficult decision to return to Queensland to be closer to family. Despite searching hard, they couldn’t find suitable accommodation that would allow them to keep her, so they entrusted her back to us so she could find another loving home.
Peppa absolutely adores being around people and thrives on attention. While she’s not a huge fan of being picked up or sitting on laps, she will happily park herself right next to you, lean in for pats and scratches, and soak up every cuddle she can get.
She has the most delightful habit of flopping dramatically onto the floor or stretching into the funniest poses just so you’ll notice her, and trust us, you won’t be able to resist.
Peppa is wonderfully social and relaxed. She’s great with other cats, tolerant and easy-going with pretty much anyone, and adapts to new surroundings remarkably quickly. In her recent foster home she had the whole household smitten within the first 24 hours (her foster family were seriously tempted to keep her themselves!).
Her previous family described her perfectly:
“Peppa has been a wonderful joy to be around. While she isn’t always interested in sitting on your lap or being picked up, you’ll constantly find her wanting to be near you. She loves her pats and scratches and will meow to find you when she’s unsure if she’s home alone. Even at three she still loves playing with wand toys and has the skills of a soccer player when chasing a small fluffy toy up and down the stairs and around the house. She will hog the heater, and during the time we fostered other cats she often mothered them like her babies and was always curious to play. There wasn’t a day that went by that she didn’t make us laugh or put a smile on our faces. She will be missed dearly.”
If you’re looking for a affectionate, playful, social, and endlessly charming companion who will fill your home with laughter and warmth, Peppa is that special cat.
Peppa is approximately 3 years old, has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and located with her amazing foster family in Box Hill.
Please enquire if you think you could give this gorgeous girl the loving forever home she deserves.
About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help

We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
