Just like the tiny seeds that add something special to every meal, Sesame has quietly been the heart of her little family.

After lovingly raising her nine gorgeous puppies, this devoted mum is ready for a chapter that's all about her.

Sesame is the most devoted, loving mumma you could hope to meet. When she first arrived in care, she was frightened and unsure of the world around her. Watching her blossom into the playful, affectionate girl she is today has been incredibly rewarding.

She’s happiest when she’s with her people. Whether it’s hopping in the car for an adventure or heading out for her morning walk, Sesame’s excitement is impossible to miss—her whole body wiggles with happiness! She walks beautifully on lead, stays by your side without pulling, and has even learnt to sit patiently at kerbs before crossing the road.

Wherever she goes, people can’t help but comment on her gentle, sweet nature. She’s welcomed countless visitors meeting her puppies with calm confidence and has shown nothing but kindness.

Sesame is wonderful with children and has spent time with kids from 18 months through to 12 years old. She’s incredibly gentle, patient, and loves being included in family life.

She simply wants to be part of the pack. She adores cuddles and spending time with her people, but she’s also content curling up on a big comfy bed outside. That said, we’re pretty sure she’d never turn down an invitation onto the couch for extra snuggles!

Currently living in foster care with a loving family, Sesame has shown just how gentle, patient and caring she is. Now that her puppies are growing up, she's discovering the joys of being spoiled with attention, belly rubs and a comfy place to stretch out.

Like the finishing touch that brings all the flavours together, Sesame has a way of making a house feel like home. Her sweet temperament, loyal nature and gentle heart make her a joy to have by your side.

Because Sesame is living in foster care, we know her personality and can help you decide if she's the right match for your home. We don't have a shelter you can visit, but once you've submitted an adoption application, we can arrange a meet and greet so you can get to know this wonderful girl.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.

2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.

3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.

4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
