Hissy Elliott certainly lives up to her name! She's sassy, determined, fiercely independent, and always knows exactly what she wants. Wrapped up in one tiny, adorable package is a huge personality that's impossible not to admire.
This gorgeous calico-tortie girl is absolutely stunning, with a coat that looks like she couldn't decide on just one colour. She's a little work of art with plenty of attitude to match!
Hissy isn't your typical lap cat, and that's perfectly okay. She's looking for someone who will appreciate her for exactly who she is. Most of the day you'll find her happily tucked away under the couch or curled up in a cupboard enjoying her own space. But as soon as the afternoon arrives, she's out on an important mission—finding her feline friends for cuddles, grooming sessions, and companionship. Her love for other cats is truly unmatched, and they bring out the happiest side of her.
While people aren't quite her favourite thing (she'd probably tell you cats are far superior!), Hissy has been making steady progress. She tolerates being held and gently patted, even if she gives you a look that says she'd rather you didn't get too carried away. She genuinely enjoys interactive playtime with wand toys, string toys, and little mice to chase, and she even joins her foster family on the bed at night. Deep down, she enjoys having her humans nearby—she just likes to pretend otherwise.
Hissy is searching for a quiet, understanding home with experienced cat owners who will let her settle in at her own pace without expecting her to become a cuddly lap cat. She **must** have at least one friendly feline companion, as another cat is essential to her happiness and confidence. A home without young children would suit her best.
If you're looking for a cat who will thrive simply by being loved, respected, and given the freedom to be herself, Hissy Elliott could be your perfect match. She may never demand your affection, but watching her blossom and seeing the joy she gets from her feline friends is incredibly rewarding. She'll make a wonderful companion cat—and your resident kitty will thank you for it.

1. We ask that you fill in our Adoption Application before we make arrangements to meet a cat or kitten. This will help us to match you the best suited cat or kitten.

2. We will conduct an Interview via phone or video chat if your application is successful.
3. We will invite you to a meet and greet at a time that suits you and our foster carer.
4. If it is a purrfect match for cat and hooman, you will need to:
- Pay the adoption fee as listed. We accept direct deposit or cash.
- Sign our final adoption agreement and send it back to us
- We will conduct a house check and drop off your new friend. We carry out house checks to ensure that there aren't any escape routes, or toxic plants etc.
- We prefer our cats to remain indoors at all times for their safety and the safety of wildlife and are only outside if they have access to a cat run our are outside with supervision.
