Meet Luna, a gorgeous Rottweiler looking for her forever home! 🐾

 

She's affectionate, smart and food-motivated, with a big love of ear rubs, rope toys, zoomies and pretending she's a lapdog.

 

Keen to always be a part of the action, Luna is eager to please. She came to us through no fault of her own after her owners separated, and is ready to find her person.

 

Her ideal home A confident, active adult who can offer consistent training, firm boundaries and plenty of exercise Ideally someone home a lot, though she copes with short periods alone A big, secure yard with tall, solid fencing, as she can get alert and vocal at neighbouring dogs or wildlife Not suited to young children, elderly or frail residents, or less mobile people. She's big, strong and doesn't always know her own size. 

Other animals No cats, birds or other small animals She lives with a small cavoodle and has formed a loving, protective bond. The size difference makes play overwhelming for her smaller friend Best as an only dog, or with a calm, confident medium-large dog who can set boundaries without aggression She's reactive to some unfamiliar dogs and needs slow, patient socialisation to build her confidence. She shows lots of promise, progressing fast with walks, muzzle and halti training. 

 

Health Healthy and happy. Like many fosters, she's sensitive to sudden diet changes, so she's thriving on simple, consistent kibble with treats introduced slowly. She will do almost anything for kibble, so no problems there!

Luna is a true rottie - a protector with a heart of gold 💛. For someone with the time, love and patience to build on her training and socialisation, she'll be a devoted companion.
