Astor

Astor is a gorgeous 2-year-old Siamese mix who is currently finding shelter life a little overwhelming. He's a sweet, sensitive boy who can be quite shy in new situations, and right now, he'd much rather keep all four paws firmly on the ground and take things at his own pace.

But behind that cautious exterior is a lovely cat just waiting for someone to give him the chance to shine.

Astor isn't the kind of cat who is going to rush over and demand your attention on day one. He needs a little time, patience and a quiet environment to feel safe. Once he has the opportunity to settle in and learn that he's somewhere he can relax, we think he'll show you just how sweet he can be.

There's something pretty special about taking a chance on a shy cat. You get to watch them slowly come out of their shell, discover their confidence and realise that they're finally home.

Astor would love a patient adopter who understands that trust is something to be earned, not expected immediately. Give him a little space, let him set the pace, and you may just find yourself with the most rewarding companion.
