About Luna
Meet our beautiful full black stock coated female German Shepherd.
Luna is patiently waiting for her forever home. Luna is currently in care with our dog trainers at East Kurrajong and is learning to walk well on a loose lead, on the bed command and be fully social with all dogs.
This lovely girl has so much to give she adores her playtime bringing a bit of joy and fun into everyday life. She now has had some obedience training and knows her basics – sit, stay, wait and here.
Luna has had socialisation with other dogs, but she shows a preference for a calm male dog of similar size.
Luna is waiting for a home where she has a soft bed to curl up in at the end of the day. But what she truly longs for is family connection, routine and someone to call her own.
If you can offer her a safe, loving home and the opportunity to finally belong, please come and meet her. This beautiful girl is ready to give her heart to someone who will give her the life she deserves.
Luna is currently available for adoption in NSW, ACT, Queensland and Victoria, If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet her. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney.
If you have recently owned a German Shepherd or large breed dog, and understand German Shepherd and think you have the commitment to give Luna a new home, then please click on the link "Enquire about luna” and we will send you information about adopting a German Shepherd or go to our website and complete the application form.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
