About Aura

With her dilute tortoiseshell coat and sweet nature, Aura is a beautiful girl whose hardest days are now (thankfully) behind her! After raising two gorgeous babies, she's ready for the good life and deserves every bit of pampering coming her way :)
Always up for a chat, vocal girl Aura is a girl who enjoys being close to her people and loves to sing to you at dinner time. She loves curling up nearby and, when she’s feeling especially affectionate, may even settle happily on your lap for a cosy cuddle. She loves to play especially with feather toys!
Aura is absolutely thriving in foster care, taking the hustle bustle of a family home in stride like the queen she is. She currently lives with resident cats and kids and would suit a variety of homes.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Aura is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm pretty confident and independent, and very relaxing company, so I'd be a great fit for most types of households! I like to be close to my special humans and love pats and cuddles, but I also prefer my own space sometimes - so if that sounds OK to you we're sure to get along wonderfully.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: While I enjoy short bursts of play, I'm a couch potato at heart. Lazing around with my family nearby is my favourite activity!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Excellent, I'd say. I adore playing with the gentle four-year-old in my foster home.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: It took me some time to realise how cool they were, but the two other cats I'm currently living with are tremendous fun! I'm definitely open to meeting your resident felines, and hopefully we'll be a good match :)

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
