About Allie-Mae
Meet Allie-Mae!
Current location: VIC / Mitchell Shire area
Age: 5 years
Looking for a loyal shadow who will adore you with her whole heart? Then it’s time to meet beautiful Allie-Mae.
We are looking for a foster carer with a view to adoption who can offer Allie-Mae the love, patience, stability and understanding she needs.
Allie-Mae can be an extremely anxious girl and, when feeling unsure or overwhelmed, she can be quite vocal with barking. She will need a patient, understanding family who can provide the stability, structure, routine and reassurance she needs to feel safe and thrive.
When visitors arrive, Allie-Mae can be quite vocal as she processes new people entering her space. She may bark while proudly carrying her favourite teddy in her mouth. Once she has had time to settle and understands everything is okay, her loving and affectionate personality shines through.
Her anxiety and the support she needs in her new home will be discussed in detail with potential foster carers to ensure we find the right match for this beautiful girl.
Allie-Mae is crate trained using positive reinforcement, and her crate is her own safe place where she can relax and feel secure.
Allie-Mae is an incredibly affectionate Boxer girl who loves nothing more than being close to her people. She will follow you everywhere, loves cuddles, and once she gives you her heart, she will love you unconditionally. At night, she is happiest sleeping on the bed with her humans, soaking up all the love and companionship she can get.
This gorgeous girl enjoys all the simple pleasures in life. She loves her walks, car rides, playing tug-of-war and chasing balls. Mention the word “walk” or pick up her lead and she will let you know she is ready to go with plenty of excitement and enthusiasm!
Allie-Mae also has a little soft spot for puppychinos, which are guaranteed to make her tail wag.
She has lovely basic manners and knows commands such as sit, wait and place. She has also learnt that waiting politely instead of jumping up earns her plenty of pats and cuddles — something she absolutely loves.
Allie-Mae is a smart girl who thrives with clear boundaries, structure and routine. She is looking for someone who will continue guiding her with calm, consistent leadership and positive training. Like many Boxers, she is clever and will happily test the rules if given the opportunity, so consistency is key to helping her be the best version of herself.
Allie-Mae is looking for a very special home. She needs to be the only dog in the household and is best suited to a home without children.
In return, Allie-Mae will give her family endless cuddles, loyalty, laughter and the incredible love that Boxers are known for.
Could Allie-Mae be the devoted companion you’ve been looking for?
