Blackbird

Playful, chatty and completely devoted to her feline friends—Blackbird is a tiny tuxedo girl with bright green eyes, endless curiosity and a personality that’s impossible not to smile at. 🖤🐦✨ While she’s still building confidence with people, she’s already mastered the art of announcing mealtime. The moment she hears a cupboard door open, she’ll come trotting into the kitchen with plenty to say: “Excuse me… I believe snacks are required immediately!” Creamy treats are a firm favourite, and she’d happily trade her dignity for a piece of bacon.

Blackbird is happiest when she’s playing, exploring or curled up with another cat. Her absolute favourite thing is snuggling with a feline companion, making her a wonderful match for a home with a friendly young cat looking for a playmate. Feather wand toys bring out her inner acrobat as she leaps high into the air, catches them triumphantly in her jaws and then proudly drags her prize away. Rattle mice with feather tails are another obsession—and she’s not at all bothered if a toy is almost as big as she is. If she likes it, she’ll happily haul it across the apartment! 🪶🐭

When playtime winds down, you’ll often find Blackbird stretched out in a warm patch of afternoon sunshine or perched by the window, watching birds flutter through the trees. She prefers affection on her own terms, but if you’re lucky enough to earn her trust, she’ll quietly lean into a scratch behind the ears… before pretending she didn’t enjoy it at all. Gentle patience, plenty of play and a cat friend to share adventures with will help this delightful little girl continue to blossom. 💚☀️

MY IDEAL HOME:
A patient indoor home with plenty of interactive play, ongoing gentle socialisation and, ideally, another friendly young cat who’d love a constant companion.

MY ENERGY LEVEL:
Playful, curious and active, with lots of enthusiasm for games, climbing, exploring and toy-hunting before settling down for a sunny nap.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN:
Likely to suit older, respectful children who understand that she prefers to choose when she’s ready for affection.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS:
Blackbird adores other cats and would thrive with a feline companion. She hasn’t met dogs yet, so any introductions should be slow and carefully managed.
