Hello, I'm Clancy. Life in the shelter is interesting, but I dream of a home where I can stretch my paws. I'm a sweet soul, always ready to purr and nuzzle into a warm lap. I'm brave too, not afraid of new adventures. I'm loyal, once I choose you, it's for life. I'm not just a cat, I'm a companion! I'll be there to greet you after a long day, and keep you company when you're alone. I'm more than just a pet, I'm a friend. **Special adoption** 

I have been diagnosed with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and require a home where I am kept safely indoors at all times, so I can live a long happy life and not risk the safety of other cats. 

My new adopter will;  Have no other cats in the household OR only house with another cat that has an FIV positive status. Agree to always keep the cat indoors or in a secure enclosure, such as a Catmax. (Allowing an FIV + cat to roam will not only put their health and wellbeing at risk, but also other non infected cats that may come in contact with them)

We recommend having a chat to your local vet about FIV to make sure you fully understand the virus.
