TEMPERAMENT & BEHAVIOUR
Interaction with adults: Very nervous until she is familiar with you
Interaction with children: Tends to be too much energy for her as she is quite timid
Suitable child age range: Older children preferable however she is fine with our younger kids but prefers adult company.

Interaction with other dogs: She loves other dogs again once getting to know them
Interaction with cats/other animals: She is completely fine with cats
Best in a home with other animals? If yes, which: yes another dog companion would be great for her but not essential as she bonds with her humans.

Confidence level: Shy : loud noises, men, anything she deems as aggressive.
Elsa is a very sweet girl who is eager to love and be loved in return. She is very timid and shy initially but still seeks a safe person and LOVES cuddles. She follows you around and always wants to be on your lap or nearby. She is great with other animals and 98% toilet trained. She is not good at walking on a lead or going on walks in general. She is scared of unfamiliar areas and sounds (traffic). She chews everything in sight, so a good chew toy is essential and hiding all shoes. When she comes out of her shell, she enjoys to play, chasing our other animals and playing with dog toys. She paws at you for more cuddles and has the sweetest puppy dog eyes.

LIFESTYLE & ROUTINE
Favourite activities: Cuddling in bed or on the couch with you, going out in the backyard and having some freedom with you there, eating!
Favourite treats/toys: Loves a kong with treats in it, chew toys, dental chews. Anything fluffy she will shred to pieces.
I love her putting a paw on you for attention or cuddles. She put her nose right up to my face never licks but just wants to be close. She goes on her back for pats (not scared).

Best suited home type
She will do best in a quiet, calm home with older children or adults who can provide gentle routines and patience. A family with experience in shy or sensitive dogs would be ideal. She is not suited to a busy or highly active household yet, as she can become overwhelmed easily and is still building confidence with the outside world.

• Very scared of new people, especially males. She is comfortable with your husband but tends to ignore him, showing she needs slow, gentle introductions and time to build trust.
• Limited walking confidence — she cannot walk very far yet without becoming frightened, so adopters should expect gradual, positive walking training rather than long outings.
• Currently in a chewing phase — she will need appropriate chew toys and supervision while she grows out of it.
• May have early accidents, but she is already 98% toilet trained and improving rapidly.
• Sensitive to change — she needs a patient adopter who can offer reassurance, predictability and gentle guidance.
