Panda

Panda is a gorgeous 4-year-old black and white tuxedo boy with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He just needs a little time and patience to show you his true personality. 🖤

Panda is naturally a timid and sensitive boy, so he can take some time to feel safe and comfortable with new people. Once he decides you're one of his people, though, he is incredibly sweet, affectionate and loving. He is a big fan of head boops, pats and curling up on your lap on the couch. On a chilly night, he may even sneak under the covers to sleep beside you!

Panda is also quite the little chatterbox and will happily let you know when he thinks it’s time for dinner! As he has become more comfortable in his foster home, we're also starting to see his playful side emerge, including some very cute little zoomies around the house. It has been wonderful watching him slowly come out of his shell.

Panda previously lived in a very busy small apartment with two cats, two dogs, two adults and two autistic children. This environment became overwhelming for him, and he began hiding and experiencing stress-related toileting issues. His family eventually moved him to live on their balcony for around six months before making the difficult decision to rehome him. We believe these experiences have contributed to Panda being such a timid boy today, and he has shown us that he is happiest when life is calm, predictable and peaceful.

Because of this, Panda is looking for a quiet, patient and understanding home where he can take things at his own pace. We feel he would be happiest living with one person, or two people at most, rather than a busy household. He may be comfortable living with another calm, respectful pet, provided introductions are slow and carefully managed.

Panda also appears to feel more comfortable with women. He has absolutely blossomed with his female foster carer and has formed a beautiful bond with her. He is still unsure about his male foster carer, although he is making very slow but encouraging progress. A reminder that Panda just needs someone willing to give him the time and space to build trust.

Panda isn't the cat who will instantly run up to greet everyone at the door. He is the cat who will quietly watch you from across the room, slowly decide you're safe, and then one day surprise you by jumping onto your lap asking for pats. His trust is something you earn, and once you have it, it is incredibly special. ❤️

Panda is looking for a calm forever home where he can finally relax, feel safe and continue discovering just how lovely life can be.
