About Honey
Honey has spent much of her life in and out of care, but this hasn't dampened her warmth. Instead, she takes it in stride with remarkable resilience. With a medium-sized frame, this 18kg bundle of love is already desexed and ready for adoption.
Initially born in a Sydney animal facility, Honey was adopted as a young pup and has since had a couple of homes. Her journey through no fault of her own has brought her back to the shelter, yet Honey never misses a chance to show her love. She moves comfortably around the office, greeting everyone with her wagging tail and friendly disposition before settling down for a well-deserved nap with her bed full of soft toys!
Honey's gentle personality is complemented by intelligence and a willingness to learn. She knows some basic commands like sit and shake, and she thrives in an environment where she can engage with her human pals. Animals don't bother her; with reported experience living with a cat but we are unable to confirm behaviour in the home, she has shown no reactivity with other dogs, although we have history showing she may become frustrated with other dogs at times.

Adoption details
The adoption fee for all animals is $79 + all veterinary costs which are determined once your animal is booked in for desexing and will be discussed with you at that time.
We encourage potential adopters to meet specific animals. If you already have a dog and wish to adopt another, we require a 'Meet and Greet' session at the facility to ensure compatibility. Please contact us to make an appointment.
All animals adopted from our facility come:
• Desexed
• Vaccinated
• Microchipped
• Vet-checked
• Lifetime registered in NSW
Please note that desexing (if required) is only performed after adoption, which may result in a delay in taking your new pet home, depending on vet availability. Staff will contact you once an appointment is booked, we kindly ask that you personally collect your new pet from the vet clinic to ensure they can begin their recovery comfortably in their new home.

We do not offer trial periods for adoptions. Unless surrendered and the history is known, dogs in our care have not been tested with cats, so adopters should consider this carefully if there are cats in the household.
