Some dogs steal your heart with endless energy... Minnie does it with her quiet, gentle nature and sweet little soul.
At around 2 years old, this adorable Mini Fox Terrier is a lovely little girl who is looking for a calm home where she can truly blossom. Minnie can be a little shy and nervous indoors or when faced with new surroundings, but with patience, encouragement, and lots of gentle praise, her confidence continues to grow. Once she feels safe, there's nothing she loves more than relaxing beside her people or stretching out in a warm sunny spot for an afternoon nap.
Minnie is a low-energy companion who enjoys life's simple pleasures. Whether she's quietly following you around the house, snoozing in the sunshine, or simply enjoying your company, she's happiest just being close to the people she loves. Watching her come out of her shell is incredibly rewarding, and every little milestone feels like a celebration.
🐾Training
Like any dog settling into a new home, Minnie is still learning. She's recently become house trained, so she may need a few gentle reminders while she settles into a new routine. She's crate trained, learning her basic commands, and becoming more confident walking on lead every day.
🏡 Minnie's perfect home?
A quiet, patient home where she can take life at her own pace would be ideal. A secure backyard with a lovely sunny spot to lounge in would make her one very happy girl. Minnie has done well with other calm, small dogs and would happily share her home with a gentle canine companion. She hasn't been tested with children or cats.
Minnie can be adopted with her Mini Fox Terrier best friend, Mickey, if you're looking to welcome the sweetest, most gorgeous duo into your family. But she'll also happily thrive in a home of her own, where she can soak up all the love and attention.

Minnie’s adoption fee is $700. She is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas, ticks and worms. She is in foster care in the Hunter Valley area, NSW, and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
