Meet Bella!

Bella is a beautiful Shepherd with a gentle nature who is ready to find a family to call her own. Like many dogs, she has found the shelter environment a little overwhelming, so she's understandably a bit stressed while she's here. Despite this, Bella has shown us glimpses of the lovely, playful girl she truly is.

As a typical Shepherd, Bella is intelligent, loyal, and forms incredibly strong bonds with her people. She already knows some of the basics and will thrive with a family who can continue her training and provide plenty of mental stimulation, enrichment, and companionship.

Because Bella is still settling into the shelter, we're still getting to know her, including how she is on lead in different environments. We think she'll continue to blossom once she's in a calm, loving home where she feels safe and secure.

Bella may be able to live with another friendly dog, pending a successful meet and greet. We recommend slow, on-lead introductions initially to help set everyone up for success and allow the dogs to build a positive relationship at their own pace.
