About Snowball
Hi, I'm Snowball, and I like to take life at my own pace.
I'm a calm, affectionate boy who enjoys the simple things in life. Good food, a comfy bed, and people to love. If that sounds like your kind of lifestyle, we might be a perfect match.
I love being around my people and am happiest when someone is home regularly. I enjoy following my foster family around, checking in for pats, and simply being part of whatever is going on. I'm not the kind of dog who likes to spend long hours alone, so a home where I have plenty of company would suit me best.
I get along wonderfully with other dogs, but I don't need a canine companion to be happy. As long as I have my people, I'm a pretty content boy.
I love meeting new people. I've lived with young children and enjoy being involved in family life. I'm calm, gentle, and easy to be around. However, as I'm a larger boy, I can sometimes be a little clumsy without meaning to, so interactions with smaller children should always be supervised to keep everyone safe and happy.
I sleep well in my crate and love snuggling into a pile of blankets, especially now that the nights are cooler. During the day, I enjoy exploring the yard, relaxing in the sunshine, and, of course, keeping a very close eye on the kitchen.
Speaking of kitchens, we should probably talk about food.
Food is one of my favourite things in the world. I have perfected the art of placing myself in exactly the right spot in case a snack accidentally falls from the bench. Some may call it begging. I prefer to think of it as strategic planning.
Training is going well. I know basic commands like sit, and with a little guidance I'm doing well with my toileting. Because I'm so food motivated, I really enjoy learning and would love a family who'll continue helping me build my confidence and skills.
I was also an absolute superstar at the vet. Vaccinations, microchipping, and even that mysterious thing called castration didn't bother me one bit. Everyone told me I was a very brave boy, and I have to agree.
One thing my forever family will need is good quality, secure fencing. I enjoy exploring my surroundings, so having a safe and secure yard is important to help keep me safe.
I'm Snowball.
Calm, loving, loyal, and a professional nap enthusiast. If you're looking for a gentle companion who loves being part of the family, enjoys cuddles, and will happily share life's quieter moments with you, I'd love to meet you.
Love,
Snowball

Adoption Process
Please complete your adoption application in full and provide all required supporting documentation, including veterinary records for any existing pets and, where applicable, a copy of your current lease agreement with written permission to keep pets. Applications will not be assessed until all requested information has been received.
Applications are not approved on a first come, first served basis. Every application is carefully assessed to ensure the best possible match between the animal and their new home. We consider the individual needs of each animal, your lifestyle, experience, home environment, and ability to provide lifelong care. If we believe the animal you have applied for is not the right fit, we will happily work with you to find a more suitable match.
Cats are adopted as strictly indoor-only pets. They must not be allowed to roam outdoors under any circumstances. Secure outdoor cat enclosures or supervised harness walks are acceptable where appropriate.
Dogs will only be adopted into homes with secure, escape-proof fencing suitable for the size, breed, and needs of the individual dog. Applicants may be asked to provide photos or videos of their fencing and yard as part of the assessment process.
If your application is approved, your contact details will be provided to the animal's foster carer, who will contact you to arrange a meet-and-greet and, if suitable, a handover.
Prior to collection, you will receive an adoption agreement, copies of the animal's veterinary records, and payment details. The signed adoption agreement and full payment of the adoption fee must be received before the animal can leave our care.
We offer a two-week trial period to help ensure the adoption is the right fit for both you and the animal. If the adoption does not proceed during this period, the animal must be returned to our care. The adoption fee will be refunded less an administration fee, provided the animal is returned in the same condition in which it was adopted.
Our priority is placing every animal into a safe, loving, and permanent home. We reserve the right to decline any application if we believe it is not in the animal's best interests.
