About Snowball
Hi, I'm Snowball, and I'm looking for my forever home.
I'm a gentle, affectionate boy who really just wants to be part of a family. I'm happiest when my people are around, and I love following my foster family from room to room, checking in for pats and making sure I know what's going on. I'm definitely the kind of dog who likes having company, so I would love a home where someone is around regularly.
I think I'd be a particularly good match for a retired person, couple, or someone who works from home. If you're looking for a loyal companion to keep you company throughout the day, I could be your boy.
I'll be honest with you I can be a little stubborn sometimes, and I like to do things at my own pace. I'm looking for someone who understands that I need patience, gentle guidance and clear, consistent boundaries. I'm still learning, and with the right person helping me along the way, I know I can continue to become the best version of myself.
I've lived with other dogs before, but I really don't need another dog to make me happy. Having my people all to myself sounds pretty perfect.
I love meeting new people and I've lived with young children. I'm calm, gentle and enjoy being involved in family life. I'm a big boy though and sometimes I forget just how big I am, so I can be a little clumsy without meaning to. Because of this, I'd need younger or smaller children to be supervised around me.
I'm doing really well with my training. I know basic commands like sit and I'm making good progress with my toileting. I'm very food motivated, which makes learning much more interesting for me. If you've got treats, I'm very interested in whatever you're trying to teach me.
When I'm at home, I sleep really well in my crate and absolutely love curling up in a pile of blankets. I enjoy exploring the yard, relaxing in the sunshine and hanging out with my people. I also take my job as kitchen supervisor very seriously. You never know when something delicious might accidentally fall off the bench.
My ideal home would be calm and settled, with someone who has plenty of time to give me attention, companionship and guidance. I'd love a person who enjoys having a dog by their side and who will help me with my training while giving me the boundaries and routine I need.
I'll also need a secure, well fenced yard so I can safely enjoy exploring and relaxing outside.
I may have a stubborn streak, but I'm also a very loving boy. Once I trust you, I'll happily become your loyal shadow. I don't need a complicated life. I just want someone who will love me, include me, guide me and give me a safe place to call home.
And because my foster family really wants to see me find the right match, they are willing to pay my adoption fee for the right home. Finding the right person for me is much more important than the fee.
So, if you're retired, work from home, or simply have plenty of time and love to give, maybe I'm the companion you've been looking for.

Adoption Process
Please complete your adoption application in full and provide all required supporting documentation, including veterinary records for any existing pets and, where applicable, a copy of your current lease agreement with written permission to keep pets. Applications will not be assessed until all requested information has been received.
Applications are not approved on a first come, first served basis. Every application is carefully assessed to ensure the best possible match between the animal and their new home. We consider the individual needs of each animal, your lifestyle, experience, home environment, and ability to provide lifelong care. If we believe the animal you have applied for is not the right fit, we will happily work with you to find a more suitable match.
Cats are adopted as strictly indoor-only pets. They must not be allowed to roam outdoors under any circumstances. Secure outdoor cat enclosures or supervised harness walks are acceptable where appropriate.
Dogs will only be adopted into homes with secure, escape-proof fencing suitable for the size, breed, and needs of the individual dog. Applicants may be asked to provide photos or videos of their fencing and yard as part of the assessment process.
If your application is approved, your contact details will be provided to the animal's foster carer, who will contact you to arrange a meet-and-greet and, if suitable, a handover.
Prior to collection, you will receive an adoption agreement, copies of the animal's veterinary records, and payment details. The signed adoption agreement and full payment of the adoption fee must be received before the animal can leave our care.
We offer a two-week trial period to help ensure the adoption is the right fit for both you and the animal. If the adoption does not proceed during this period, the animal must be returned to our care. The adoption fee will be refunded less an administration fee, provided the animal is returned in the same condition in which it was adopted.
Our priority is placing every animal into a safe, loving, and permanent home. We reserve the right to decline any application if we believe it is not in the animal's best interests.
