About Billie
APPLICATION ONLY:
Billie is a beautiful 3-year-old female Labrador looking for a loving home where she can truly thrive. Having only recently arrived at the shelter, Billie is finding the kennel environment quite stressful, and as a result she can be very vocal and excitable when meeting new people and experiencing new situations.
Despite her enthusiastic nature, Billie is a friendly girl who has some basic obedience training and is eager to build a strong bond with her new family. She would be best suited to a home environment where she can enjoy plenty of companionship, as she does experience separation anxiety and does not cope well being left alone for extended periods of time.
Billie has previously lived with other dogs and can happily share her home with a suitable canine companion. She may be quite vocal when first introduced, but once she becomes comfortable and starts to play, she settles well and enjoys canine company.
As a typical young Labrador, Billie is boisterous, energetic, and full of life. For this reason, she is not suited to a home with cats or young children who may find her exuberant behaviour overwhelming.
Billie is looking for an active, patient family who can provide her with the companionship, structure, and reassurance she needs while she settles into her new life. In return, she will reward her new family with endless affection, loyalty, and plenty of fun-filled adventures
