Meet Bobby!

Hello there! I'm Bobby, a handsome Jack Russell Terrier with a nose for adventure and a heart full of love!

If you're looking for a little explorer to brighten your days, I might just be your perfect match. I absolutely love getting out and about, following interesting scents and seeing where my nose takes me. Every walk is an adventure when you're with me!

I'm a pretty independent guy, happy to potter around and investigate my surroundings, but don't let that fool you, I also adore affection and will happily soak up cuddles and spend quality time with my favourite people.

When I meet new people, I'm usually very friendly, although I can be a little unsure around unfamiliar men. If you give me the chance to get to know you at my own pace with gentle, positive introductions, I'll soon realise you're a friend worth having. I'll also enjoy some force free training to help me continue building my confidence and learning fun new skills.

I'm looking for a home with secondary school aged children who can understand when I need a little space while I'm settling in. I may also be able to live with another friendly dog, provided we're introduced slowly and thoughtfully.

Now, I do have a couple of things to work on. I'm carrying a few extra kilos at the moment (who can resist snacks?), so I'll need a family who's committed to helping me reach a healthier weight. I also have carpal valgus, which affects my front legs, and losing weight will help me move more comfortably by reducing the pressure on my joints. With sensible exercise, a healthy diet and lots of encouragement, I'll be feeling my best in no time.
