Stevie

Stevie is a beautiful 1-year-old Kelpie Cross looking for a loving and understanding home to call her own.

Stevie can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with some gentle pats, cuddles, and a little patience, her sweet and affectionate personality quickly shines through. Once she trusts you, she enjoys human companionship and loves spending time with her people.

She has shown positive interactions with male dogs and could potentially enjoy having a canine companion. While she generally gets along well with other dogs, Stevie can occasionally display some dominant behaviours, so any introductions should be managed appropriately.

Stevie has a good foundation of basic training and already knows commands such as sit and stay. She is an intelligent young dog who would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to help build her confidence.

Stevie can be cautious around sudden movements and loud activity, so she would be best suited to a calm, quieter home environment. For this reason, she would thrive in an adult only home who understand the importance of giving her space when needed.
