Meet Freddo, another irresistible little boy from The Chocolate Box Litter.
Freddo is a beautifully coloured puppy with a soft cocoa-brown coat, a darker chocolate mask, a broad creamy-white chest and four neatly dipped white toes. His green collar suits him perfectly, but it is those large, gentle eyes and slightly solemn little face that will win you over.
His mum is a purebred Pug and his dad is a purebred Border Collie. This unusual pairing has produced six affectionate, clever and thoroughly charming little boys, each with his own distinctive appearance and personality.
Freddo is a sweet, people-loving puppy who enjoys attention, play and the company of his brothers and the other dogs around him. He is curious about the world and is a happy, playful pup.
He is still very much a baby and will need patient guidance as he learns about toilet training, walking on lead, household manners and life beyond his foster home. Positive training, sensible socialisation and clear, consistent boundaries will help him grow into a confident and well-mannered adult dog.
Freddo is looking for adopters who understand that puppies need time, companionship and commitment. He must be welcomed indoors and included as part of family life rather than left to amuse himself in the backyard. He will need regular play, appropriate exercise, plenty of rest and, above all, kindness and security.
Freddo is available under ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program. The cost of his desexing is included in his adoption fee, subject to the terms and conditions of the adoption contract, and his desexing must be completed when he reaches the appropriate age.
This soft-eyed little chocolate boy is ready now. He may be named after a frog, but we think he is rather more handsome.

Freddo is available for interstate adoption. We are happy to advise on transport options, obtain quotes and make arrangements. For this little pup, we have a strong preference for road transport over air.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
