Meet Mars, one of the adorable little boys from The Chocolate Box Litter.
Mars is a delightful puppy with a glossy black coat, a bright white chest blaze, a neat little white chin and tiny white toes. He is an extremely handsome little fellow, with a sturdy build, a sweet face and a quietly confident air that is hard to resist.
His mum is a purebred Pug and his dad is a purebred Border Collie, giving Mars a charming mix of affection, intelligence and personality. It is a combination that has produced a litter of thoroughly engaging puppies, and Mars is no exception.
Mars is a happy little boy who enjoys people, loves company and is growing up surrounded by the usual bustle of puppy life. He is playful, curious and full of promise, with the kind of lovely nature that should make him a wonderful companion as he grows.
There is something especially appealing about Mars’s calm, steady expression. He looks like a thoughtful little chap, but he is still very much a baby puppy who needs all the usual guidance, patience and training. His new family will need to help him with toilet training, lead training, household manners and socialisation, while also giving him plenty of love, security and fun.
Mars is looking for a home where he will be welcomed as part of the family and allowed to live indoors as a much-loved companion. Like all puppies, he will need time, consistency and commitment, but he will repay that effort many times over with affection, loyalty and joy.
Mars is available under ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program. This means the cost of desexing is included in his adoption fee, subject to the terms and conditions of the adoption contract. His desexing must be completed when age appropriate.

Mars is available for interstate adoption. We are happy to advise on transport options, obtain quotes and make arrangements. For this little pup, we have a strong preference for road transport over air.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
